1- How does the RainAway System work?
A - Simply put, we attach our ceiling on the underside of the deck. It drains the water away from the house and into a gutter system which leads to the downspout. Our roof is a ceiling under your deck, which keeps it dry and clean for entertaining, storage, and many other uses.

2- How is the RainAway system different from the other companies?
A - Having been in the industry since it's inception since 1995, we have researched and tested just about every possible avenue of water
diversion. When we came out with the ventilated smooth panel system, we knew
there was nothing else in existence like it. Allowing air flow and ventilation
is vital to the life of the joist structure and of the deck. While our system
does have the patent pending custom brackets for extra support, the panels
can be taken down for general maintenance or other needs. Over the years, there
have been numerous other companies and contractors who have attempted to
beautify and dry out the area under decks. We strongly recommend that you do
extensive research with any contractor who works on your home. Back to top
3- What about the ventilation?
A – Ventilation is very important to allow the system to dry out quickly and efficiently after a rainfall. Our system incorporates
patent pending vents to allow for a movement of air above and below the systems, while maintaining the watertight space for you to use.

12- What happens to the leaves/pinestraw that fall through the cracks of the deck?
A - Most of the debris that falls through the deckboards will flush itself through the RainAway System. It is recommended that the outside gutter be maintained and flushed out as needed. Simply raise the panel and use a garden hose to flush out the gutter. Average volumes of debris will only require an annual cleaning.

15- Why are you no longer with Dry-B-Lo?
A - After 10 years of installing deck drain systems in Atlanta, we found ourselves agreeing with our customers that a smooth appearance in a deck drain system was far superior to the product we formerly installed. We found that no other smooth finish system offered ventilation. Additionally, the structural integrity of the existing smooth systems was not sufficient. We began researching and applying our experience to find the best deck drain system on the market. The result is The RainAway Deck Drain System.

16-Does your aluminum system have any adverse effects with the new ACQ lumber?
A- It does not, we were
prepared to adapt our system to the new lumber before it even hit the shelves in
2005. No part of the aluminum has direct
contact with the ACQ lumber and we always use "ACQ approved fasteners."
